So in my quest to further replace the features of .mac for free or much cheaper I came across this service. Called Mozy, they offer 2GB of free online storage or unlimited for like $5 a month. They have a nice little downloadable app that schedules your backups and what files you want to upload. The 2GB will be plenty for me since I only like to use the online backup for smaller files like bookmarks, address book, and small things like that. Here’s a referral link if you’re interested. Anyways it’s free and seems pretty slick and I can take one more thing off the list of .mac features to be replaced.
